Adult Group Ski Lessons
Even as adults there are still plenty of new things to learn - why not learn how to ski? In our small groups of up to six individuals you can make the most of our skilled instructor's tips and tricks.
Lesson Details
We welcome beginner and intermediate skiers in our Blue League lessons, advanced skiers in our Red and Black League lessons:
Beginners
The beginner lessons cover adaptation to skiing, walking with skis, gliding in the fall line, breaking in snowplough and snowplough turns. Lessons take place at least on the first day in the Bodmi Arena in the village of Grindelwald.
Intermediate
In our intermediate lessons we teach you how to slide sideways as well as the transition from snowploughing to a parallel ski position. Lessons take place at least on the first day in the ski are Männlichen.
Advanced & Expert
Are you an advanced skier who would like to learn more about skiing and improve your skiing technique? If yes, our advanced group lessons for adults are perfect for you! Depending on your ski level, our lessons cover parallel turns, short turns as well as carved turns. You have the opportunity to work on your dynamic skiing style as well as gain first experiences skiing off piste. Lessons take place at least on the first day in the ski are Männlichen.

Throughout the winter season, we offer morning lessons from Saturday to Wednesday. It is possible to join a group from Saturday to Wednesday (with the exception of Blue Prince, which only runs from Saturday to Monday). If there are enough participants, lessons can be extended until Friday. It is possible that you will be taught by different snow sports instructors.

If you are not yet sure whether you like the group lessons, book just one day at first and then extend. Extensions are welcome until 5:00pm on the day of the lecture.
3 hours of lessons per day
- Complete ski equipment (10% discount available at Outdoor rental shops)
- Ski clothes (rentals available at Outdoor rental shops)
- Ski pass (depending on which level you are)
The rental equipment must be purchased in advance from the Outdoor Shop & Café at Dorfstrasse 103 in Grindelwald. Please note that the journey from the shop by bus or car takes approx. 15 minutes to the Bodmi Arena or Männlichenbahn (+ approx. 25 minutes gondola ride). The Firstbahn valley station can be reached in 5 minutes by bus or car.
Ski passes can also be bought at our shop in the village or at the Bodmi Arena.
- 9:45am at Bodmi Arena: Beginners
- 9:45am at Männlichen mountain station: Intermediate, Advanced & Expert
These are the meeting points for Saturday & Monday. The ski instructor will inform you where to meet on the following days the day before.
In order for the course to take place as advertised, we need at least 3 participants. If there are fewer registrations, we will inform you the evening before the course. If there are 2 participants, there will be shorter lessons (at the same price). If there is only one enrolment, group lessons cannot take place; we will offer you private lessons as an alternative.
Booked group lessons can be cancelled by the participant up to 5pm on the evening before the first day of the lesson without incurring any costs. Cancellations after this time with a valid medical note will also be 100% refunded. Participants will be charged 100% for all other cancellations made after 5pm on the evening before the lesson.
