Adult Group Ski Lessons
Even as adults there are still plenty of new things to learn - why not learn how to ski? In our small groups of up to six individuals you can make the most of our skilled instructor's tips and tricks.
Lesson Details
We welcome beginner and intermediate skiers in our Blue League lessons, advanced skiers in our Red and Black League lessons:
Beginners
The beginner lessons cover adaptation to skiing, walking with skis, gliding in the fall line, breaking in snowplough and snowplough turns. Lessons take place at least on the first day in the Bodmi Arena in the village of Grindelwald.
Intermediate
In our intermediate lessons we teach you how to slide sideways as well as the transition from snowploughing to a parallel ski position. You can choose between Bodmi Arena & Männlichen as your lesson location.
Advanced & Expert
Are you an advanced skier who would like to learn more about skiing and improve your skiing technique? If yes, our advanced group lessons for adults are perfect for you! Depending on your ski level, our lessons cover parallel turns, short turns as well as carved turns. You have the opportunity to work on your dynamic skiing style as well as gain first experiences skiing off piste. We ski at the First, Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg ski areas.
The 3h lessons take place from 10.00 to 13.00.
We offer group ski lessons for adults from Saturday to Wednesday. If there are enough participants, the lessons can be extended up to Friday.

If you are not yet sure whether you will enjoy the group lessons, book only one day first and then extend. Extensions are welcome until 17.00 on the day of the lesson.
3 hours of lessons per day
- Complete ski equipment (20% discount available at Outdoor rental shops)
- Ski clothes (rentals available at Outdoor rental shops)
- Ski pass (depending on which level you are)
The rental equipment must be purchased in advance from the Outdoor Shop & Café at Dorfstrasse 103 in Grindelwald. Please note that the journey from the shop by bus or car takes approx. 15 minutes to the Bodmi Arena or Männlichenbahn (+ approx. 25 minutes gondola ride). The Firstbahn valley station can be reached in 5 minutes by bus or car.
Ski passes can also be bought at our shop in the village or at the Bodmi Arena.
- 9:45am at Bodmi Arena: Beginners & Intermediate
- 9:45am at Männlichen mountain station: Intermediate, Advanced & Expert
- 9:00am at First cable car bottom station: Advanced & Expert
These are the meeting points for Saturday & Monday. The ski instructor will inform you where to meet on the following days the day before.
In order for the course to take place, we need at least 3 participants. Courses with less than 3 people will be shortened, merged or cancelled.
Booked group lessons can be cancelled by the participant up to 5pm on the evening before the first day of the lesson without incurring any costs. Cancellations after this time with a valid medical note will also be 100% refunded. Participants will be charged 100% for all other cancellations made after 5pm on the evening before the lesson.
