Group Snowboard Lessons

We offer group snowboard lessons at these locations:

Bodmi Arena
The Bodmi Arena is our ski school area, which offers the perfect infrastructure for beginners. It is located in the village of Grindelwald.

• Levels: Blue Prince
• Reachable in 15 minutes by bus from Grindelwald village centre
• Accompanying persons do not need a ski pass to reach the Bodmi Arena

First ski area
In the ski area First we teach advanced snowboarders and pros.

• Levels: from Blue King on
• Meeting point at the First cable car bottom station in Grindelwald village centre (exception: afternoon lessons)
• Accompanying persons do not need a ski pass to get to the meeting point

We offer morning lessons daily throughout the winter season. It is possible to start the course from Saturday to Wednesday (exception Blue Prince only from Saturday to Monday). Your child may be taught by different snow sports instructors.

 Per additional day: + CHF 70

*Applies only if either a minimum of 5 days is booked from the beginning or if a minimum of 5 days is extended on the first day of lessons before 5:00pm.

If you are not yet sure whether your child will enjoy group lessons, book just one day at first. If you extend to at least 5 days on the first day of lessons before 5:00pm, you will still benefit from the special price. It is also possible to extend day by day (+ CHF 70 per additional day).

Extensions are welcome until 5:00pm on the day of the lesson.
 

Season pass half day lesson for kids

We only offer group lessons in the afternoon during the above-mentioned period. It is possible to start the course from Saturday to Wednesday (exception Blue Prince only Saturday to Monday).

• Complete snowboard equipment (10% discount available at Outdoor rental shops)
• Snowboard clothes
• Snack for the tea break
• Ski pass (depending on lesson location, level & age)

The rental equipment must be purchased in advance from the Outdoor Shop & Café at Dorfstrasse 103 in Grindelwald. Please note that the journey from the shop by bus or car takes approx. 15 minutes to the Bodmi Arena. The Firstbahn valley station can be reached in 5 minutes by bus or car.

Ski passes can also be bought at our shop in the village or at the Bodmi Arena.

For morning lessons starting at 10:00am:

• 09:00am First cable car bottom station
• 09:40am Bodmi Arena

For afternoon lessons starting at 1.45pm:

• 1.40pm Schreckfeld station (First cable car, 2. station)
• 1.40pm Bodmi Arena

In order for the course to take place as advertised, we need at least 4 participants. If there are fewer registrations, we will inform you the evening before the course. If there are 2-3 participants, there will be shorter lessons (at the same price). If there is only one enrolment, group lessons cannot take place; we will offer you private lessons as an alternative.

Booked group lessons can be cancelled by the participant up to 5pm on the evening before the first day of the lesson without incurring any costs. Cancellations after this time with a valid medical note will also be 100% refunded. Participants will be charged 100% for all other cancellations made after 5pm on the evening before the lesson.
