Kids Advanced Group Ski Lessons
In a playful way, the children learn or improve their skiing level in the group lessons for advanced skiers. For sure a highlight: Thursday is race day where every child strives to win the gold medal!
Lesson Details
Our lessons are structured according to the Swiss Snow League:
Beginner Group Ski Lessons: Bambini & Blue Prince
Blue King and Star: Intermediate
In the Blue King and Blue Star groups, the children practise their turns on the easy blue slope.
Red League: Advanced
Our Red League group lessons are aimed at advanced skiers and are devided into these levels: Red Prince, King and Star. Whether it's learning to ski in parallel, acquiring the skills to do short turns or even attempt a black run for the first time - our skilled instructors are there to help the kids progress safely.
Black Prince: Almost Pro
We welcome all young ski pros in our Black Prince group lessons. Kids and teenagers refine their skiing technique and try out more complex moves on skis while exploring the best slopes.

We offer advanced group lessons at these locations:
Bodmi Arena
The Bodmi Arena is our ski school area, which offers beginners and slightly advanced skiers the perfect infrastructure. It is located in the village of Grindelwald and can be reached by bus in 15 minutes. This means that parents do not need a ski pass unless they wish to ski in the Bodmi Arena (it is best to buy a ticket on site). In the Bodmi Arena we teach the levels Bambini, Blue Prince, Blue King & Blue Star.
First ski area
In the ski area First we teach advanced skiers the levels Red Prince, Red King, Red Star & Black Prince. Parents can ski in the ski area themselves, but can also bring their child to the meeting point in the village. (Exception: for afternoon lessons, the meeting point is in the ski area!).
Männlichen ski area
In the Männlichen ski area we offer half-day group lessons for all levels from Bambini to Black Prince. As the meeting and pick-up point is in the ski area, this location is well suited for parents who would like to ski themselves during their child's lesson.
These two factors play a role in the choice of teaching location:

- What do the parents do during the lessons or do they have a ski pass?
Advanced group lessons take place at the following times at these locations:
- Morning / 10.00-13.00: Bodmi Arena, First & Männlichen
- Morning + lunch / 10.00-14.00: Bodmi Arena
- Full day incl. lunch / 10.00-16.00: Bodmi Arena & First
- Afternoon / 13.45-16.15: Bodmi Arena, First & Männlichen
Morning / 10.00-13.00
We offer 3h lessons in the morning at all 3 locations. There is a tea break everywhere. Lessons take place daily, and it is possible to join a group from Saturday to Tuesday.
Morning + Lunch / 10.00-14.00
Thanks to our kids' club, we can offer 3h morning lessons (see above) followed by a supervised lunch from Monday to Friday at the Bodmi Arena. Lunch can also be booked on individual days only.
Full day incl. lunch / 10.00-16.00
Together with the "children registered for the morning only", 3h lessons take place in the morning. Afterwards, lunch is served in the kids' club in the Bodmi Arena or in the First mountain restaurant. In the afternoon, groups with greater differences in level consolidate and deepen what they have learned in the morning. This offer can be booked from Monday to Friday, starting on Monday or Tuesday.
Afternoon / 13.45-16.15
We offer group lessons in the afternoon daily at both locations only during the high season weeks. It is possible to join the course from Saturday to Tuesday.
Please note that the meeting is 15-45 minutes (depending on location and lesson time) before the lesson starts.

The rental equipment must be purchased in advance from the Outdoor Shop & Café at Dorfstrasse 103 in Grindelwald. Please note that the journey from the shop by bus or car takes approx. 15 minutes to the Bodmi Arena or Männlichenbahn (+ approx. 25 minutes gondola ride). The Firstbahn valley station can be reached in 5 minutes by bus or car.
Ski passes can also be bought at our shop in the village or at the Bodmi Arena.
At the start of lessons at 10.00:
- 09.00 First cable car bottom station
- 09.40 Bodmi Arena
- 09.40 Männlichen mountain station, by the wooden cow (playground)
For afternoon lessons starting at 13.45:
- 13.30 Schreckfeld station (First cable car, 2. station)
- 13.30 Bodmi Arena
- 13.30 Männlichen mountain station, at the wooden cow (playground)
In order for the course to take place, we need at least 3 participants. Courses with less than 3 children will be shortened, merged or cancelled.
Booked group lessons can be cancelled by the participant up to 5pm on the evening before the first day of the lesson without incurring any costs. Cancellations after this time with a valid medical note will also be 100% refunded. Participants will be charged 100% for all other cancellations made after 5pm on the evening before the lesson.
