Shared Ride to the Starting Point

Introduction
10 min

In Bönigen, the raft is ready and waiting. You receive your life jacket and a warm blanket. The fondue set is already laid out: caquelon, fondue forks, bread and sides. Then you board and settle in.

Cheese Fondue on Lake Brienz
1.5 hr

We set off across Lake Brienz and glide down the Aare towards Unterseen. Your guide paddles while you focus on the fondue: bread on the fork, dipped into melted Swiss cheese, white wine poured. City lights reflect on the water, the mountains fade into the dark. The pace is slow. Talk, eat, look around.

End of the Tour

The tour ends in Unterseen, a short walk from Interlaken West train station. Your van with your belongings is waiting there. From here, it's easy to continue on foot, by train, or by bus.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
