Key info
Overview
As the sun sets and the cheese slowly melts in the pan, your evening begins.
We take you rafting on Lake Brienz, past quiet shores with a view of the snowy peaks. The guide steers the boat while you prepare your raclette, pour wine, and enjoy a relaxing evening on the water with your group. Everything is provided: warm blankets, good cheese, and time for each other.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsYou have the choice: either get picked up at one of the meeting points in Interlaken or come directly to the Outdoor base. Pick-up is 15 minutes before the tour starts. If you're driving, there's a parking garage at the base in Interlaken.
From the meeting point, we will shuttle you to the starting point in Bönigen.
In Bönigen, the raft awaits you. Before setting off, you'll receive your life jacket and a warm blanket. Everything is ready, and you don't need to bring anything. It's best to leave your personal belongings in the van, which will be waiting for you later in Unterseen. Then you board the raft and make yourself comfortable.
We set off together on Lake Brienz and glide over the Aare towards Unterseen. You're seated in a stable, cushioned spot and covered in warm blankets. While your guide paddles the raft, you can focus on the food: hot potatoes, pickled vegetables, melted cheese in a tealight pan. There is also white wine and tea.
The atmosphere is calm, city lights reflect on the water, and with a bit of luck, you might see stars over the mountains. You can talk, listen, or just enjoy. An evening for everyone who wants to be together, while slowing down and enjoying the scenic views.
The tour ends in Unterseen. From here, you are a short from Interlaken West train station and the heart of Interlaken. The van with your belongings will be waiting there for you.

Weather info
General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
