Ropes Park Rigi

The ropes park is idyllically located at the foot of Mount Rigi, nestled in a quiet forest. The meeting point is right at the park entrance.

After your arrival, head to check-in. There you'll receive your climbing gear and be introduced to the techniques by experienced guides. They explain how the safety system works and what to watch out for while climbing. At the test course, just off the ground, you can try out what you've learned and get a first feel for the height. Once you're ready, you start climbing into the trees.

Nine different courses lead you through the treetops. They vary in height, difficulty, and character. The lower courses are ideal for building confidence and overcoming initial obstacles. Higher up, wobbly bridges, swinging nets, and narrow beams challenge you.

A special experience is the 20-meter high climbing snake that spirals upwards. Up there, you feel part of the forest around you, and a sense of achievement once you reach the top.

Once you've mastered all the stations, the 155-meter long zipline awaits you as a finale. You glide swiftly through the treetops, let go, and enjoy the expansive view over the landscape.

How much time you spend in the ropes park is up to you. Many stay for 3-4 hours, others for the entire day.

To wrap up, you can relax at the grill area or watch others climb. Return your helmet and harness, change clothes, and end the day on a relaxed note. Maybe with a drink in hand, a good conversation, or simply the feeling of having experienced something new.
