Overview

Recommended for: Anyone drawn to places that still feel untouched.

Most winter days in Switzerland happen on the slopes. This one doesn't.

Three activities, one tour, one day. You snowshoe through deep snowy forests, share a classic Swiss cheese fondue in a mountain hut, then sled back toward the valley to finish the day. Guided, all gear included, away from the slopes and the crowds. For anyone who wants to feel the winter, not just see it.

Itinerary

Meeting points
Meeting Point

You arrive at our base at 09:30. Be there about ten minutes early so we can fit you with your gear: snowshoes, poles, everything sized to you.

Drive
20 min

We travel together by bus and mountain railway, up out of the valley and deeper into the Swiss Alps. Your guide gives a short intro on the way.

Snowshoeing
1.5 hr

With snowshoes on, you head through snowy forests, over gentle slopes, and past open viewpoints. Your guide knows the route, sets the pace for the group, and shares stories about the region as you go. No prior experience needed. The snowshoes do the rest.

Fondue
1 hr

After about one and a half to two hours, we reach an alpine hut. Inside, the smell of cheese warms thr room, outside lies the snow. A classic Swiss fondue is served with a panoramic view. A true highlight of the tour.

Sledding
1 hr

After the meal, you get your sled. The route runs through the forest down toward the valley: varied, with some curves, but not technically demanding. Doable for beginners, still fun for experienced sledders.

Return Trip
20 min

At the bottom, the shuttle is waiting to take you back to Wilderswil.

End of Tour

You return your gear, change clothes, and warm up. If you have time, stick around for a hot drink. One thing is certain: this mix of snowshoeing, fondue and sledding stays with you.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
