Snowshoe Tour: Wetterhorn Grindelwald
The Wetterhorn Snowshoe Tour is an easy trail with impressive views. Beginning on the outskirts of the idyllic mountain village Grindelwald, the marked route gently climbs along the foothills of the towering Wetterhorn towards Grosse Scheidegg. Views of the Upper Grindelwald Glacier, First ski resort, and Schynige Platte greet you as you hike through alpine meadows and snow-covered forests.
The rustic mountain hut Ischboden provides a chance to refresh and visit the Alpine Bird Park while the world-famous Eiger north face looms in the distance. This round trip loops back down to the Wetterhorn carpark, completing an unforgettable winter experience.
