Overview
The water sweeps you along, waves crash over the boat. Here, only one thing matters: full concentration and teamwork.
The Lütschine offers class III-IV whitewater, fast currents, and strong waves. You actively paddle and experience a true Alpine rafting adventure. The tour starts in the valley leading to Grindelwald and ends at Lake Brienz. A safety kayak accompanies you along your journey for added security.

Itinerary
Meeting pointsThe tour starts at the OUTDOOR Base in Interlaken.
At the Base, the guides introduce themselves and give you a briefing on the tour's itinerary.
You will then receive all necessary equipment and go through to the changing rooms to get ready.
The scenic drive to the Lütschine entry point in Lütschental takes about 20 minutes.
Before starting, the guides thoroughly explain paddling techniques and water safety rules, then you get on the water.
The Lütschine starts as it means to go on; with the first major rapid only meters from the start. You paddle while your guide navigates the boat safely through the water.
After about 1.5-2 hours you reach Lake Brienz, where you jump in for a short swim.
Once you have helped get the boats out of the water, you jump back in the shuttle and return to the Base.
Back at the Base, you return the gear, shower, and change. Afterwards you can get a complimentary drink in the front desk area.
Now is the time to view your photos and order your photo package.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
